All products sold by Astrea Lab are strictly for in-vitro laboratory research purposes only. Not for human or animal consumption. Not for therapeutic or diagnostic use. By purchasing, you agree to the Research Use Agreement available at astrealab.nl/research-use-agreement.

1. GENERAL APPLICABILITY

These Terms & Conditions apply to all sales of research chemicals and peptide reagents by Astrea Lab within the European Union and internationally. By using astrealab.nl, you agree to be bound by these terms.

2. PRODUCT QUALITY AND VERIFICATION (THE PURITY PLEDGE)

Astrea Lab guarantees that all dispatched batches undergo High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) and Mass Spectrometry (MS) testing. We guarantee a minimum purity of 99.0% for our primary catalog items unless explicitly stated otherwise. Independent third-party testing results (e.g., via Janoshik Analytical) are provided for verification.

3. PRICING AND PAYMENT

All prices are listed in Euros (€) and exclude applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Astrea Lab reserves the right to modify prices based on supply chain fluctuations. Orders will only be dispatched upon full receipt of payment.

4. SHIPPING AND COLD-CHAIN LOGISTICS

Astrea Lab utilizes cold-chain logistics (insulated packaging, temperature control) to preserve the integrity of lyophilized peptides. Shipping times are estimates. While we ship under Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) arrangements for select EU regions to minimize friction, the Purchaser remains ultimately responsible for ensuring that the importation of research chemicals complies with their local and national jurisdiction laws.

5. RETURNS AND REFUNDS

Due to the sensitive nature of chemical reagents and the risk of contamination, we do not accept returns on any opened or handled vials. If a Purchaser conducts their own independent, ISO-certified laboratory testing (e.g., HPLC/MS) and the product falls below our stated ≥99.0% purity guarantee, Astrea Lab will provide a full refund or replacement. The Purchaser must provide the certified laboratory report within 30 days of delivery to initiate this process.

6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content, including analytical reports, images, text, and educational materials on astrealab.nl, is the intellectual property of Astrea Lab. Unauthorized reproduction or commercial use of our analytical data is prohibited.

7. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes arising from this agreement will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Dutch courts.
